Uncured explores a classical portraiture style through the use of experimental industrial printing processes. In manipulating the ultraviolet light curing technologies, attention is drawn to the inherant properties that compose an image. Density, viscosity, light, ink, and time are isolated as photographic variables. As the ink is printed in an uncured state, it develops and transforms the photographic image as it responds to gravity and elements of the physical, creating an image that is in a state of flux.
